WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a shocking development that has left onlookers both concerned and confused, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene reportedly began screaming at her own reflection in a Capitol Hill bathroom mirror, accusing it of being an “illegal alien” and demanding that it “go back to its own country.”
Witnesses claim that Greene, who was fresh from a press conference where she passionately discussed various controversial policies, entered the restroom and immediately locked eyes with her reflection.
“She just stood there, staring at herself for a moment, before she started yelling things like, ‘Who do you think you are, coming into my country, wearing that face?’” said a Capitol staffer who wished to remain anonymous. “Then, she shouted, ‘Go back where you came from!’ And honestly, we all thought she was addressing someone behind her, but nope. Just the mirror.”

According to sources close to Greene, the incident began after the representative had spent several minutes discussing the importance of securing the border with an aide, who noted that Greene had recently become “extremely agitated” about the concept of “foreign influences.”
“It’s like she just snapped,” said the aide. “She was getting more and more worked up about ‘the invasion,’ and then she looked in the mirror, and that’s when it happened. She must have thought her reflection was some sort of immigrant threat.” Another aide standing nearby added, “Or, a demon. Probably saw that demon inside her.”

Security footage from the bathroom shows Greene pointing aggressively at her reflection and shouting, “This is America! You can’t just waltz in here, wearing whatever you want, thinking you can just blend in!”
Greene then allegedly proceeded to tell her own reflection that it “didn’t belong here” and “needed to go back to the place where it came from,” adding, “I don’t care if you’ve been here for centuries; I don’t trust you.” She was later heard muttering, “I knew something was off about you the minute I saw you.”

Onlookers speculate that Greene’s outburst may be tied to the increased national debate on immigration and her recently introduced bill calling for a “one-way ticket” policy for all “unwanted mirrors.”
At press time, Greene was still in the bathroom, reportedly asking the reflection if it had any papers to prove it belonged in the United States.

The reflection, however, remained silent.
